Better Than Flying and The Food is Better
When we are planning our future "homes", we start by looking for Repositioning Cruises. These are generally one-way trips between Countries (often Continents).
We select a Repositioning cruise that gets us in to Europe, then we find a repositioning cruise that gets us out of Europe and into a different country.
Then later we fill in our time in Europe with individual countries or more specific plans.
No Jet Lag - A Moving Hotel Room
Unpack in our Hotel room on Day 1 in Country 1. Visit 4 or more other countries. Pack on Day 15 (or longer) and arrive at our new Home.
No jetlag to deal with which is huge.
Fellow Nomads
These types of one way trips aren't for everyone. For example if a person lives in Australia and gets on a cruise to Tokyo, they will then have to pay to fly back to Australia.
For us, we make our home in Tokyo (or Europe or South America) and then find a different way out of the countries, months later.
We have the time for both the cruise and the explore.
And there are usually many other nomads on board.
