Budapest Hungary - July 2024
We love Budapest. Not at all what we expected.
Memento Park, and yes that's Stalin and yes it is intentional that he looks like Rodin's The Thinker. Hungary has seen many political changes, most of the time the change came with terrible effects.
Chain Bridge was near out house. It was the first bridge built across the Danube to connect Buda Castle to the town of Pest. Today, there are many bridges and the entire City is now called Budapest.
